Do you work on commission or contingency?
No. Commission-based grant writing is considered unethical within the nonprofit sector. Fees are based on the scope of work performed, regardless of funding outcomes.
What happens during a discovery call?
The discovery call is a no-obligation conversation to learn more about your organization, goals, and needs. We’ll discuss potential pathways for partnership and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together.
Do you offer short-term or project-based support?
Yes. While Catalysta is most effective as a long-term strategic partner, project-based and short-term engagements are available depending on organizational needs, scope, and budget.
Do you provide post-award grant management and compliance support?
Yes. Post-award support, reporting, and compliance management are available as part of GrantOps or as a complementary service, depending on the engagement.
What types of organizations do you typically work with?
Catalysta primarily partners with mission-driven nonprofits serving survivors of gender-based violence, immigrant and limited-English-proficient communities, and other underserved populations.
How does payment and onboarding work?
All services are paid in advance based on the agreed-upon scope of work. Once a contract is signed and payment is received, a Kick-Off Call is scheduled to confirm services, communication, and next steps.
Do packages or hours roll over?
No. Package fees cover the agreed-upon deliverables within the defined time frame. Unused portions do not roll over.
